The Port Macquarie Marine Discovery Centre is dedicated to providing opportunities for young people to discover and appreciate the marine environment, and gain a better understanding of the challenges faced by man's impact on our coasts and ocean.

To provide an opportunity for visitors to the Marine Discovery Centre to explore a range of activities related to the Marine Environment.
our Objective
Visitors to the PMMDC will develop:
- Skills to safely engage in marine-based activities
- Knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the marine environment of the NSW mid-north coast and beyond
- Knowledge and understanding of conservation matters and issues of sustainable use of our marine resources
